Reynald Feldt and his son Bob were visitors to the museum on March 30, 2019, and it was a great day for us, as Rey donated to the museum an HO-scale model of the New Port Richey railroad station as it existed in 1926. The Tampa and Gulf Coast Railroad served the city. Rey used old photos of the station to make an historically accurate model. Rey and his son both live in Clearwater. However, Rey lived in New Port Richey when he was a small child and attended Pierce Grammar School during much of grades 1 through 5. His grandfather was Emil Nyman, who came to Port Richey in 1912 and became a leading businessman in New Port Richey in the 1920s.
